A first-generation university graduate with a Drama degree from Wits University and an MBA in progress at Regenesys Business School, Lerato combines artistic excellence with strategic leadership. Her celebrated acting career includes standout roles in Isibaya, Justice Served, and Netflix’s Marked, earning her accolades such as a SAFTA Gold Horn Award and an International Emmy nomination.
Beyond performance, Lerato has produced and directed acclaimed theatre and television projects, facilitated masterclasses, and founded the Single Mums Foundation to empower women and communities. As a board member for key cultural and tourism organisations, she continues to influence South Africa’s creative and business sectors, advocating for sustainable arts development while mentoring emerging talent.
