South Africa’s leading mountain bikers will descend on Bloemfontein this weekend when the country’s premier cross-country riders compete for national honours at the South African National XCC and XCO Championships at Happy Valley.
More than 250 riders are expected to line up on one of the country’s most demanding cross-country courses, with Olympians, national champions and rising stars all chasing the coveted national jersey.
Charl Roos of Free State Cycling told OFM Sport that bringing the championships back to Bloemfontein after four years is a significant occasion.
