Red is often associated with superpowers, and Janíke Jonker believes that moving forward when you feel powerless is a superpower too.

This episode is proudly brought to you by CFAO Healthcare South Africa in the interest of education, awareness, and support. As we observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, we’re turning the spotlight on the strength and resilience of those facing cancer — encouraging a culture of early detection, community support, and proactive health.

Janíke Jonker is an intern educational psychologist who has a passion for working with children with neurodiversity and special educational needs. She values working with families and the challenges they encounter as a unit, recognising that all individuals form part of a broader system and the welfare of the system is as important as focusing on the individual.
