Cybercrime on the rise in SA

Millions of South Africans are daily hanging around in cyberspace with a big chunk doing internet or cellphone banking. According the South African Banking Risk Information Centre, Cyber-crime has increased by almost 30% since 2013 in South Africa. This is due to the exponential increase of internet connectivity. While banks continuously provide cyber security messages and advice, criminals are also devising new ways to steal from customers.
