Country Bird CEO sheds light on poultry issues

OFM News’ agri editor Sabrina Dean speaks to the CEO of poultry company Country Bird Holdings, Marthinus Stander. They discuss the significant challenge being posed to local producers due to imported poultry meat. He says South Africa is spending more than R7-billion to bring in meat that could actually be produced locally. They also discuss possible solutions, with Stander saying Government and industry need to take hands to resolve the problems.
