Elderly woman attacked in Potch, transferred to Joburg

An elderly woman, whom along with her husband, was attacked by three men in Potchefstroom yesterday, is believed to be in a critical but stable condition in a Johannesburg hospital. Mediclinic Potchefstroom spokesperson, Diana King says the 66-year-old woman was stabilised at the facility yesterday before being airlifted to Johannesburg for further treatment. The woman's 69-year-old husband died from the wounds he sustained during the brutal attack in their house. Two of the assailants are still at large while one man will appear in court on Monday facing charges of murder and attempted murder. - Olebogeng Motse/OFM News
