Free State police are appealing to the public, who might have fallen victim to a social media livestock feed scam, to come forward. This after a 39-year old woman was arrested in connection the fraud, which allegedly took place in August of last year. Police spokesperson Loraine Earle explains the woman allegedly advertised livestock feed at a reasonable price for struggling farmers and one farmer from Sutherland deposited an amount of more than R86 000 - the suspect however never delivered and a case of fraud was opened. - Mark Steenbok/OFM News
