Over 100 000 motorists are expected to be passing through the Free State today, making their way home from the Easter long weekend. This is according to spokesperson for the Road Traffic Management Corporation, Simon Zwane. Zwane says about 200 000 motorists are expected to be passing through the N3 later this afternoon, however he is urging people to be patient, as the N3 is currently closed due to protest action near the Mooi River toll plaza and the R103.
