Question of diversity hangs in the balance at #DACongress2018

Political Analyst, Theo Venter, says there are high expectations that the whoever get elected for the DA top leadership position ensures that the party becomes a mass party and address questions relating to its alleged lack of diversity and representative. This as the party draws to an end of their two-days federal congress held in Pretoria. The candidates for the position of federal chair of the party include Free State chairperson Annelie Lotriet, Tshwane mayor Solly Msimanga and current chair Athol Trollip. Delegates at this seventh federal congress are voting for new leaders and results are expected to be announced by midday.
