Not everything is as it seems. A journey from pain to purpose.

In this episode of the Conscious LeadHERS podcast, hosted by The Carmen Murray Show, we sit down with Michelle Israel, an NLP coach and well-being and mental health expert who also serves on the Conscious LeadHERS advisory board, to uncover her powerful story. This interview marks the first time someone is sharing their story on the podcast without prior knowledge of the details, emphasising the profound message that everyone has a story, and often, the battles they fight are unknown to the outside world.

Michelle begins by sharing her background, growing up in a wealthy family until her father's untimely death when she was just four. Her life took a dramatic turn with her mother's remarriage, bringing domestic violence, molestation, and a challenging environment. Despite these hardships, Michelle's resilience shines through as she recounts her journey of leaving home at 16 to escape the violence, living in a caravan, and eventually suing her mother for mismanagement of her inheritance.

Michelle reflects on the deep emotional scars left by her childhood and the process of healing through NLP coaching and ayahuasca ceremonies. She speaks candidly about her struggles with anxiety, her determination to break the cycle of abuse, and her journey towards self-acceptance and forgiveness.

Michelle's story is a testament to the power of resilience and the importance of inner work. She highlights the necessity of surrounding oneself with supportive people, the continuous effort required for personal growth, and the profound transformation that can occur when one decides to heal and reclaim their life.

Join us as Michelle Israel shares her inspiring journey, offering hope and encouragement to those facing their own battles. Her story is a powerful reminder that despite the challenges we face, we have the strength to overcome and create a better future for ourselves.
